How long does one sensor last, and how often does it read?

Each sensor runs for 14 days and takes a reading every three minutes, which works out to roughly 480 readings a day. The transmitter battery is matched to the same 14-day cycle, so a charged transmitter comfortably covers a full sensor.

Does Tracky need finger-prick calibration?

No routine calibration is required — the sensors are factory calibrated. As with any CGM, readings settle over the first day of wear, and a finger-prick meter is still the right check if a reading does not match how you feel or if you are making a treatment decision.

What glucose range does it cover?

Tracky reads from 30.63 up to 500 mg/dL. That is a wider span than several competing sensors, which matters most at the extremes — during a hypo or a significant high, where a narrower sensor simply reports "low" or "high" instead of a number.

How far can I be from my phone?

The transmitter holds a Bluetooth link at up to about 6 metres in the open. Walls and bodies shorten that, so if readings stop arriving, bring the phone closer and confirm Bluetooth is on before troubleshooting anything else.

How long do unused sensors keep?

Sensors have a one-year shelf life from manufacture, so buying a few at a time is fine. Store them at room temperature and check the date on the pack before applying.
